In Australia there was a similar moral panic about a couple of decades ago over whether physicians had to get parents' approval to prescribe contraceptive pills requested by their daughters under 18.
It now seems the duty of schools and teachers to address the school population with a version of Florida's DeSantis don't say gay... don't say trans... or anything to do with pronouns, for their own safety they must stay in the trans closet until legal age, Canadian Republicans are a terrible bunch.

I simply do not trust the premiers on this one. It just sounds like another culture war wedge tactic, weaponizing the trans issue for political gain.
